TF Powers Construction Co. completed the Hector International Airport Expansion and Renovation in 2008. The multi-story, 117,000 SF, project included 42,600 SF of additions and 74,400 SF of renovations. The project consisted of 2 additions and a complete renovation of the facility. A new boarding bridge was added with 4 existing boarding bridges relocated and stored as the phasing of the additions took place. New escalators were installed at the existing concourse. Existing front curtain wall facade was demolished and replaced at the existing concourse. All work took place while the airport remained in operation. Construction was completed with FAA & TSA regulations and security procedures in places.
