TF Powers Construction Co. field superintendent Dave Weber volunteered to clean out the children’s playground area at Churches United for the Homeless in Moorhead, MN. The project was spearheaded by the Moorhead Noon Kiwanis Club. After removing the old turf and sand, the area is now prepped for improvements. The new play area will include a construction grade fabric base, rubber pellets, and a new gym set.
All Kiwanis clubs in the Fargo-Moorhead area have made contributions but additional funding is needed to complete this project. Contributions can be sent to Churches United for the Homeless, 1901 1st Ave. N., Moorhead, MN 56560, with “Playground” written in the memo line.
